This year, the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has delivered the rehabilitation aids needed by a further 826 persons with disabilities directly to their homes.

They have been provided with a total of 22,633 rehabilitation aids, including powered wheelchairs, wheelchairs for indoor and outdoor use, wheelchairs equipped with sanitary facilities, canes, forearm and underarm crutches, static standing frames, quad canes and other aids.

It should be noted that persons with disabilities who are unable to travel to Baku, either themselves or through their relatives, to visit the Agency’s Prosthetics and Orthotics Production and Rehabilitation Centre to obtain the rehabilitation aids they need are provided with these aids at their homes.
