Today, 39 children from childcare social service institutions of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population are starting first grade.
They are experiencing the excitement of wearing their school uniforms, meeting their first teachers, and making new friends. For these children, today is not only the first day of the school year, but also the beginning of new dreams and hopes.
Ensuring children’s access to education, supporting their integration into social life, and creating favourable conditions for their comprehensive development are among the main priorities of social services. The Social Services Agency regularly implements measures to ensure the right to education of children living in its institutions, as well as to support their school readiness and adaptation to the educational process.
Currently, 476 children deprived of parental care live in childcare social service institutions operated by the Agency.
We wish all students success in the new academic year!
