In line with President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, the achievements of the reforms carried out by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population in recent years earned 117 international awards and certifications last year alone.
Among these achievements are the DOST concept, the digitalization of social services, the creation of proactive services, the "e-social" internet portal, the "Labour and Employment" sub-system, and other successes, which regularly placed among the winners in international competitions.
The International Social Security Association, a reputable global organization that unites over 320 social security institutions from more than 160 countries, awarded 12 prizes to the Ministry’s institutions just last year.
Additionally, last year, the DOST Agency succeeded in the "European Social Services Awards – 2024" competition held by the European Social Network and was once again honored with the European Social Services Award.
In total, in 2024, the DOST concept and digital social projects earned 38 international awards, the State Social Protection Fund earned 30, the State Labour Inspectorate Service earned 21, the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency earned 10, and the State Employment Agency earned 10 international awards and certifications.
The "Employment Support Project," which played a crucial role in expanding the self-employment program, was awarded the prestigious World Bank award.
Furthermore, last year, the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues and the Social Services Agency received 8 additional international ISO certifications.
In the assessment of state services by the "ASAN Service Index," the Ministry again took 1st place in 2024.
