The State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population paid 1 billion 126 million manats in benefits and the President's monthly pension to 1 million 39 thousand people from the state budget in the first half of the current year.

Of these,

634 million manats were paid as benefits to 505 thousand people,

407 million manats as Presidential pensions to 405 thousand people,

85 million manats as social insurance benefits to 129 thousand people.

The amount paid was 15 percent more for benefits, 17 percent more for pensions, and 6 percent more for benefits from social insurance compared to the same period last year.

Another 75 thousand, and since 2019, when the electronic appointment of social payments began, 954 thousand benefits and pensions were proactively assigned via the e-system in the first 6 months of this year.
