The State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has appealed to employers regarding the transfer of labour contracts to electronic document form.
During the control conducted through the “Labour and Employment” subsystem, it was observed that some employers have not yet transferred their valid labour contracts to electronic document form.
The transfer of labour contracts to electronic document form is a requirement of the legislation. This requirement is of great importance in terms of timely and correct implementation, compliance with labour legislation, ensuring transparency in labour relations and protecting the rights of employees.
Employers are once again reminded that, in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 17, 2024, the deadlines for the stages of transferring labour contracts to electronic document form have been set as follows:
- For employers who are state bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, legal entities owned by the state and whose controlling share (stock) is owned by the state, and public legal entities established on behalf of the state, until January 1, 2025 (the deadline for this stage has already expired),
- For employers who are large, medium, small and micro-entrepreneurs, as well as non-entrepreneurs, until July 1, 2025,
- For employers of family farms and family enterprises, until January 1, 2026
