Within the framework of cooperation between the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) and the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, another vocational training course was organized.
ANAMA conducted “Humanitarian Demining” and “Battle Area Clearance” training sessions for new trainees expected to participate in humanitarian mine clearance operations.
The main goal of the theoretical and practical training was to teach the trainees knowledge and skills in humanitarian demining and battle area clearance.
Along with these sessions, as part of the cooperation with the State Employment Agency, training courses on “Safety Engineering of Life Activities” were also organized. A total of 48 trainees participated in the course.
The trainees were trained in technical standards and safety, first aid basics, casualty evacuation, risk management, and technical safety rules.
As a result, the total number of trainees involved in the courses organized within the cooperation between ANAMA and the State Employment Agency has reached 243.
It should be noted that these individuals are already contributing to humanitarian mine clearance operations in the liberated territories, helping to clear areas of mines and other explosive remnants of war.
