The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has organized vocational training courses for 5.6 thousand people this year.
Courses were organized for 1.9 thousand individuals at the Agency’s Vocational Training Centres in Baku, Ganja, Goychay, Karabakh, and the Nakhchivan Vocational Training Centre, while 3.7 thousand individuals attended courses at private educational institutions.
In addition to theoretical instruction in professions aligned with labour market demands, participants were also provided with opportunities to undertake practical training at enterprises.
Currently, cooperation is being carried out with 186 private educational institutions in the organization of vocational courses.
At the end of the courses, graduates are awarded certificates and supported in obtaining employment in their newly acquired professions.
