During the reporting period of this year, the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population engaged another 1336 unemployed and job-seeking individuals in vocational training courses aligned with labour market demands.
Of them, courses were organised for 525 persons at the Agency’s Vocational Training Centres in Baku, Ganja, Goychay, Karabakh and at the Nakhchivan Vocational Training Centre, while 811 persons attended courses at private educational institutions.
The courses mainly cover such fields as accountant, tailor, frontend developer, fuel station operator, human resources specialist, computer operator, procurement agent, and others.
Organised in cooperation with employers, the courses provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge related to their professions, and employment of those who successfully complete the training is also ensured.
