100 schoolchildren from grades 7-9 who have successfully completed the selection stage by registering in advance have been involved in the five-day camp. Among them are children placed in foster families.
The Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency Hasil Abbasov, the Head of the Shamakhi District Executive Power Tahir Mammadov, MPs Konul Nurullayeva and Goydeniz Gahramanov, as well as representatives from relevant institutions and partner organizations attended the camp's opening ceremony.
Hasil Abbasov said that the school period is one of the most important stages in which the interests and skills of young people are formed, and the foundation for future educational and professional choices is laid. He emphasized that this camp will allow participants to obtain information about the modern requirements of the labor market, develop leadership, communication, teamwork and other important skills.
This initiative is designed to enhance the future job prospects of youth and cultivate human capital. Other speakers highlighted the significance of early direction for students in selecting their prospective profession and career, and pointed out that the initiatives undertaken in this area greatly impact the future growth of youth.
Within the framework of the camp, trainings, seminars, interactive sessions and practical activities will be organized for participants on career planning, professions of the future, labor market requirements, choice of profession and specialty, leadership, teamwork, communication skills, personal development and other topics.
Simultaneously, different educational and development-oriented activities will be carried out in order for schoolchildren to better understand their interests and skills, and to obtain information about various professions and fields of work.
At the conclusion of the five-day program, certificates will be awarded to the attendees of the camp.
