Continuous pension increases in recent years have allowed for significant progress in bringing the ratio of the average monthly pension to the average monthly salary (replacement coefficient) into line with advanced international standards.

Since the beginning of this year, all types of pensions have been indexed and increased by 8,1 percent under the next social reform package, and from February 1, 2025, the minimum pension has been increased from 280 manats to 320 manats.

Thus, as of April 1, 2025, the average monthly salary in our country was 1083,8 manats, the average monthly pension was 538 manats, and the average monthly pension by age was 573 manats.

Thus, compared to 2018, the mentioned ratio increased as of April 1 of this year:

• from 40,7 percent to 49,6 percent for the average monthly pension,
• from 45,8 percent to 52,9 percent for the average monthly pension by age.
