The special pavilion organized by the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) at the “Urban Expo” exhibition area, has successfully completed its activities.
On the final day of the event, the Center’s pavilion continued to attract great interest from both local and foreign visitors. Exhibition participants closely explored unique handicrafts prepared by the Center’s instructors and beneficiaries and also took part in interactive master classes on carpet weaving and artistic embroidery.
Visitors were informed about the projects implemented by the Center aimed at revealing the creative potential of persons belonging to vulnerable groups and providing them with social and psychological support.
Within the framework of the session, various programs were organized at the pavilion to promote inclusiveness and showcase the creativity of persons from vulnerable groups.
The objective was to present to the wider public the innovative initiatives implemented in Azerbaijan for the development of an inclusive society, the state’s attention and support in this field, as well as the work carried out toward the social integration of persons with disabilities.
The Center’s pavilion has made a significant contribution to the promotion of Azerbaijani art, national and moral heritage, and inclusive values at the international level.
