The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has launched the next vocational training course to support the employment of visually impaired people.
The course, organized within the framework of cooperation between the Agency's Baku Vocational Training Center and the Azerbaijan Society of the Visually Impaired, is for the profession of computer operator.
35 unemployed people belonging to the specified category were involved in the course based on a special program.
After the completion of the two-month course, those who successfully pass the final exam will be given certificates and will be supported in finding work in the relevant field.
A monthly stipend is also paid to those involved in the vocational course.
