The “Labour Market” Working Group, led by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population under the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings, held its next meeting in an online format.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Working Group, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Rashad Mustafayev; the Head of the Secretariat of the Commission, Sector Head of the Presidential Administration Vusal Shikhaliyev; as well as representatives of government and non-governmental institutions represented in the Working Group.
During the meeting, a presentation was delivered on the results of the work carried out in 2025 in the country under the “Labour Force” indicator of the World Bank Group’s “Business Ready” report.
The discussions covered steps taken and results achieved in improving labour legislation, expanding active labour market programmes, and enhancing workforce skills. Proposals aimed at further improving the country’s performance indicators in the coming years were also discussed.
