The next meeting of the Supervisory Board of the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population was held.
The Chairman of the Board, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev said that the DOST Agency, established by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018, already has 7 DOST Centers, 3 DOST branches, 1 “Smart DOST” point and 2 DOST points operating in Baku and our regions. Currently, project, repair and construction works are ongoing to expand the infrastructure of DOST services.
The advantages of the DOST concept, which was initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, were brought to the attention of the public, allowing for the provision of state social services from a “single window” in accordance with citizen satisfaction. It was emphasized that the DOST model is also highly appreciated at the international level and has been awarded many international awards and certificates in the past period. It was noted that a number of countries are interested in the DOST concept (Moldova, Uzbekistan and Serbia) and experience exchange is underway with them in this area.
Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the DOST Agency, presented a report on the Agency's semi-annual activities. The report provided detailed information on the dynamics of receiving citizen applications, quality indicators of the services provided, innovative digital solutions applied in the service process, and other areas of activity.
The meeting discussed the work done in the Agency's areas of activity, the organization's strategic goals, and priority issues.
