The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, organised an info tour for representatives of civil society institutions, including members of the Public Council under the Ministry.
The event aimed to further strengthen cooperation with civil society institutions active in the field of anti-corruption, and to familiarise NGO representatives with the activities of the National Observatory, including its transparency in organising staff evaluation and training processes.
Within the framework of the info tour, participants visited the Training and Development Centre and the Assessment Centre under the National Observatory. They were provided with detailed information about the evaluation processes carried out in these centres, the methodologies applied, and the training programmes implemented.
It was noted that the approaches applied at the Assessment Centre are based on international standards and rely on the principles of transparency and objectivity.
Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory, Elnur Safarli, emphasised that the main goal of these centres is to develop the skills and knowledge of human resources in line with the changing demands of the labour market. He added that this activity contributes to enhancing the efficiency of the labour market.
The Training and Development Centre offers modern training modules to support the professional growth of employees of the Ministry and its subordinate institutions. These modules are designed according to the real needs of the labour market and aim to enhance participants’ knowledge and competencies through practical skills.
At the end of the info tour, NGO representatives’ questions regarding the activities of the centres were answered, and an exchange of views was held. The participants highly appreciated the organisation of such an info tour by the National Observatory and emphasised the importance of continuing such meetings regularly.
