The National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, has conducted an analysis of job postings for 2025. Based on the results of this analysis, the main trends and areas of demand in the national labour market have been identified.
The sectors with the highest number of job vacancies include wholesale and retail trade, finance and insurance, manufacturing, accommodation and food services, and construction. These sectors represent the main directions of labour market demand.
Among the enterprises contributing most significantly to the expansion of employment opportunities are banks (8.2%), construction and installation companies (6.9%), hotels (4.9%), and educational and training institutions (4.7%).
The most in-demand professionals among employers are sales representatives (8%), accountants (6.6%), and procurement and supply specialists (3.2%).
The most in-demand independent professions are drivers, cooks, and electricians.
Overall, only 26.3% of the vacancies recorded across 264 occupational and job groups disclosed salary information:
Average salary – 965 manats
Median salary – 800 manats
Most frequently offered salary range – 601–1000 manats
The highest average salaries were observed in the fields of ICT, engineering, architecture, programming, and project management.
According to the analysis, communication skills hold the highest share among the soft skills most in demand by employers in 2025.
