In recent days, the General Collective Agreement for 2026–2028, concluded between the Cabinet of Ministers, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with Article 36 of the Labour Code, has entered into force. The Agreement reflects the coordinated positions and joint areas of activity of the Parties concerning socio-economic and labour relations for the three-year period.
As an integral part of the social partnership system, the Agreement also includes important commitments in the fields of labour, employment, and social protection. Some of these commitments are presented below:
