One of the key directions of active employment measures is to equip unemployed and job-seeking individuals with professions aligned with labour market demands, thereby enhancing their employment opportunities.
In recent years, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has taken significant steps to improve vocational training infrastructure, including the establishment of new vocational training centers. Efforts to expand these centers nationwide are currently ongoing.
As a result of these measures, the annual number of unemployed and job seekers enrolled in vocational training courses organized by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry increased from 2600 in 2018 to 15600 in 2024, marking a sixfold rise.
Upon completion of these courses, graduates are awarded certificates and supported in securing employment in their newly acquired professions.
Additionally, the State Employment Agency under the Ministry provides career guidance services to support the younger generation in making informed career choices aligned with labour market demands.
The number of individuals benefiting from these services annually increased from 118000 in 2018 to 204000 in 2024, reflecting a 1,7-fold growth.
