A concert programme titled “Harmony of Differences” was organised at the Azerbaijan National Art Museum with the participation of instructors and beneficiaries of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Centre under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
The event was attended by well-known cultural and artistic figures, as well as members of the public.
Prior to the concert, detailed information was provided about the activities of the Centre. It was noted that the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Centre, which began its operations five years ago, was established at the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva.
Over the past period, efforts have been carried out at the Centre and its regional branches to develop the creative potential of more than 1000 persons from vulnerable groups, support their social adaptation, and involve them in professional stage activities.
During the concert programme, the Centre’s talented performers presented selected works by Azerbaijani and European composers under the direction of artistic director and conductor Mustafa Mehmandarov, accompanied by the Inclusive Chamber Orchestra.
The event also aimed to support the integration of persons from vulnerable categories into society and to introduce their creative potential to a wider audience. The organisation of this concert project in one of the capital’s historical and cultural landmarks was intended to support the development of inclusive arts in the country.
