Representatives of the State Employment Agency (SEA) under the Ministry and “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company” CJSC (ASCO), part of AZCON Holding, held a meeting.

The meeting discussed a new SEA project aimed at supporting Azerbaijani citizens in accessing official and safe employment opportunities abroad.

As some of these jobs relate to maritime and shipping sectors, cooperation opportunities with ASCO were explored. It was noted that vacancies are presented to citizens only after being assessed for safety, reliability, and legal compliance.

ASCO’s extensive international connections were highlighted as a strong basis for cooperation. Support opportunities were discussed regarding identifying suitable maritime vacancies, conducting preliminary assessments, and directing candidates to reliable sources.

The cooperation is expected to contribute to safe and official overseas employment and more efficient placement of qualified maritime professionals.
