The State Employment Agency has successfully employed 300 individuals who completed vocational courses, and a new group will begin training for employment at the factory.
Under the framework of cooperation with the Khankendi Sewing Factory, a joint Azerbaijani-Uzbek enterprise, the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population continues its efforts to train skilled workers in sewing and ensure their employment at the factory.
As part of the first phase of this initiative, the Agency organized courses for sewing equipment operators, seamstresses, and cargo handling specialists. A total of 400 people, primarily consisting of former internally displaced persons relocated to the liberated areas, as well as those resettled in surrounding areas, participated in these courses.
The two-shift courses, consisting of both theoretical and practical components, were completed by 300 individuals, all of whom have been successfully employed at the factory. As the vocational training for other participants continues, their employment at the factory will also be ensured once they complete the courses.
As a continuation of this process, the State Employment Agency will soon organize a sewing vocational training course for another group of individuals from the targeted categories. Those who complete the course will also be employed at the Khankendi Sewing Factory.
