Social Indicators for the Eight-Month Period

The revenues of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population amounted to 5.712 billion AZN in January–August this year, exceeding the forecast by 5 percent, or 264 million AZN.

Mandatory state social insurance contributions, which form part of the Fund’s revenues, increased by 6 percent, or 265 million AZN, compared with the forecast, reaching 4.559 billion AZN.

In January–August, the expenditures of the SSPF amounted to 5.494 billion AZN. This is 10 percent, or 490 million AZN, higher than in the same period last year.
