Dance sessions were organised for residents of Children’s Home Social Service Institutions No. 1, 2 and 3 under the Social Services Agency of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population within the framework of the “Recognition and Trust” project.
The project, covering 20 children aged 4–7 deprived of parental care, aims to support the children’s self-expression skills, social communication, self-confidence and emotional development.
Within the programme, the children participated in sessions combining elements of sports, national, ballroom and modern dance.
During the sessions, the project’s author and coordinator, master athlete, professional dancer and educator Ruslan Tolmachov carried out various interactive activities aimed at developing the children’s sense of rhythm, coordination, teamwork, stage behaviour and creative thinking skills.
The “Recognition and Trust” project is planned to continue.
