The National Observatory for Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population was established by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated 4 July 2019.

The Observatory works to develop advanced monitoring, analysis and forecasting systems to support effective decision-making in the fields of labour, employment and social protection. It also provides recommendations on the training of professional specialists and the development of training programmes, while participating as a training platform in their implementation.

The National Observatory regularly implements projects in these areas. The upcoming episode of Social Hour will focus on these projects as well as the institution’s cooperation experience with various organisations and higher education institutions.

The programme will be broadcast live on DOST TV at 11:30 on 18 May. Ali Mahmudov, Head of the Department for Training Organisation and Project Management at the National Observatory, will discuss the topic and answer viewers’ questions.
