The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population continues implementing the self-employment programme in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
This time, goods and materials were provided under the programme to nearly 40 people in the districts of Aghdara, Jabrayil, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Khojaly and Khojavand, as well as in the city of Khankendi.
Using the equipment provided, they established small businesses in the production of flour-based products, small tailoring workshops, broiler incubators, automobile tyre restoration and repair, car cleaning, women’s beauty salons, men’s barbershops, doner restaurants and auto repair services.
Programme participants expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided to them. They stated that they would continue striving to expand the businesses they established under the self-employment programme.
Nearly 950 residents who have been relocated to the liberated territories have already established their own small family businesses under the self-employment programme.
