The “Sənə özəl” project, developed by the State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population and planned to be implemented in the coming days, was awarded second place in the “Digital Project of the Year” nomination at the IDDA AWARDS competition. The Agency’s “Rehabus” project ranked third in the “Startup of the Year” nomination.
Within the framework of the project aimed at supporting the social integration of persons with disabilities, the “Sənə özəl” platform has been created within the mobile application of the “e-social” portal, along with a digital disability card for persons with disabilities.
Through the digital disability card provided by the project, persons with disabilities can digitally confirm their disability status in public and private institutions without presenting physical documents, and can benefit from privileges and discounts offered by social partners via the QR code on the digital disability card.
The “Rehabus” project, in turn, aims to increase access for persons with disabilities to outpatient and community-based rehabilitation services and to ensure their easy and convenient transportation to relevant facilities.
Within the framework of the project, rehabilitation buses transport children with disabilities living in Baku, Sumgayit and the Absheron to the Child Rehabilitation Center No. 2 in the capital, and children with disabilities living in Ganja to the Child Rehabilitation Center in Shamkir.
