The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population organized another media tour to small enterprises established under the self-employment program for families of martyrs and war veterans.
This time, journalists visited small enterprises in Masalli that were created for families of martyrs and war veterans with the support of the program.
They were provided with information on the social support measures for the family members of heroes who were martyred in the Patriotic War, which ended with our historic Victory, as well as for war veterans.
It was noted that within these measures, 27.8 thousand individuals from families of martyrs and war participants were employed in the post-war period; among them, 13.3 thousand individuals were provided with small businesses under the self-employment program, while 13.2 thousand were employed in suitable jobs. In addition, 1.3 thousand members of families of martyrs and war participants involved in employment measures received vocational training courses in professions aligned with labor market demands.
The media representatives first visited the service area of Patriotic War veteran Gulamhuseyn Mirzayev. With the support of the self-employment program, he was provided with equipment and established a small photo studio.
Journalists also visited small enterprises established for Vahid Isgandarov, the father of Samandar Isgandarov who was martyred in the Patriotic War, and war veteran Adalet Mammadov. With assets provided under the self-employment program, Vahid Isgandarov set up his small business in automobile tire repair and restoration, while Adalet Mammadov established his business in auto-cleaning services.
Program participants expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the constant support from the state, for the measures taken to strengthen their social protection, and for the assistance provided to help them establish their own enterprises.
