Social indicators for 2025
In 2025, the State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population provided rehabilitation services to 142 thousand persons with disabilities.
Of them, 78.600 persons received outpatient rehabilitation services, 33.200 persons received inpatient and community-based rehabilitation services, while the remaining individuals were provided with mobile and online rehabilitation services, including social-psychological rehabilitation and hippotherapy.
Alongside traditional methods, the Agency’s rehabilitation institutions have in recent years applied advanced rehabilitation approaches in line with leading international practices, including robotic rehabilitation, social-psychological rehabilitation, yoga, dance therapy, and hippotherapy. Rehabilitation services are provided to persons with disabilities in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as through community-based, telerehabilitation, and mobile formats.
