The reforms implemented in recent years in the areas of activity of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population have made social protection services more accessible, fair and inclusive.
The recent awarding of the SSPF with the UN Public Service Award is also based on the Fund's successful experience.
As a result of the proactive mechanisms implemented since 2019, individuals who are entitled to social payments are proactively assigned on the day of entitlement, without the need to apply or submit documents, through electronic systems. The previously existing long waiting times for assignment, bureaucratic obstacles, official-citizen contacts, corruption and subjective decision-making risks, as well as excess documentation and administrative burden have also been eliminated through this innovative solution.
In connection with the proactive assignment mechanism, integration with about 80 information systems of more than 60 institutions has been ensured and information exchange is carried out in real time.
More than 1.5 million people have already benefited from proactive appointment services, and citizen satisfaction with these services is over 98 percent.
The proactive, citizen-oriented service experience of the SSPF also includes alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals on sustainable poverty reduction, elimination of inequality, and transparent, fair, and strong institutions.
