55 participants who completed the training will be involved in the self-employment programme.
Further vocational training courses under the “Karabakh SMEs” project have been successfully completed with the organisation of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), “Inkişaf Corporation” OJSC and the National Center for Educational Technologies, and with the financial support of “PASHA Holding”.
Certificates confirming the successful completion of the training were presented to 55 participants from Baku and Ganja cities, as well as Absheron, Shamkir and Fuzuli districts. The participants included family members of martyrs, war veterans and members of their families.
At the next stage, the participants will be involved in the self-employment programme of the State Employment Agency. In accordance with the business plans they have submitted, they are expected to be provided with the relevant equipment and establish small and medium-sized businesses.
The “Karabakh SMEs” project, which has been operating for four years, aims to support the development of entrepreneurial skills among family members of martyrs, war veterans and members of their families, improve their material and social well-being, and support the establishment of new businesses and jobs in the areas where they live.
The project also contributes to strengthening the local workforce potential in various service and vocational fields in the territories liberated from occupation and surrounding districts, as well as to increasing employment opportunities for local residents.
