In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 31 March 2026, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population has assigned a monthly Presidential benefit to four family members of mine clearance workers who lost their lives as a result of the detonation of explosive devices during demining operations.
The monthly amount of the benefit is 700 manats, and it is to be equally distributed among the eligible family members.
According to the Decree, eligible family members include the surviving spouse, parents, children under the age of 18, as well as children continuing their education in vocational, secondary specialised or higher education institutions until graduation, but not beyond the age of 23, children over 18 with disabilities established before reaching adulthood, siblings raised in orphanages, and grandparents who have no other first-degree relatives.
