Post-War Period: 132 thousand Individuals Covered by 424 thousand Support Services

Under the leadership of President and Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, a large-scale social support package has been implemented for family members of martyrs and war participants following the Patriotic War victory.

Over the past period, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population has provided:

• 120 thousand monthly social payments to 106 thousand persons, and one-off payments to 25,6 thousand persons
• 7,200 apartments and individual houses to families of martyrs and war-related disabled persons (a programme expanded fivefold), and 567 vehicles to persons with war-related disabilities
• 104 thousand social-psychological support and rehabilitation services to 11 thousand  persons
• 96 thousand rehabilitation aids to 2,465 persons with disabilities, including 622 high-tech modern prostheses for more than 500 individuals
• Employment support for around 30 thousand  persons, including 13,5 thousand persons involved in the self-employment programme

Overall, the programme covered 132 thousand individuals and delivered 424 thousand support-oriented services.
