Under the self-employment programme implemented by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, small family businesses have so far been established for 93,000 people in the regions of the country.

Overall, more than 115,000 people across the country have been covered by the self-employment programme and have established small businesses with the support of the programme.

Within the framework of the self-employment programme, unemployed and jobseeking people are provided with assets in the form of goods and materials for more than 30 types of economic activity in the production, agriculture and services sectors.

At the initial stage, training courses are organised for programme participants, where they acquire knowledge and skills in establishing and managing a small business. Those who successfully complete the training are provided with assets in accordance with their business plans.
