March 5th is Physical Education and Sports Day
One of the rehabilitation procedures applied in the institutions of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population is therapeutic physical education.
To implement this procedure, rehabilitation institutions are equipped with modern conditions and equipment. At the same time, up to 80 staff members in these institutions provide services to individuals with disabilities in therapeutic physical education.
This rehabilitation service, which is most commonly utilized by individuals with disabilities, plays an important role in the treatment of diseases and injuries, the prevention of exacerbations and complications, and the restoration of functional capacity.
In rehabilitation institutions, various sports competitions and yoga sessions are also held with the participation of individuals with disabilities.
