A new functionality has been implemented in the “Labour and Employment” Subsystem (ƏMAS) of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population to electronically generate orders granting paid leave to men in connection with the birth of a child.
After the employee submits a medical certificate confirming the birth of the child, the employer in ƏMAS:
- enters the “Orders” section and selects “Create leave order”,
- chooses the type of leave,
- indicates Part 4 of Article 125 of the Labour Code as the legal basis for the leave,
- and electronically generates an order granting the employee 14 calendar days of paid leave before and after the birth of the child.
This innovation serves to fully digitalize the leave granting process in workplaces in a flexible and transparent manner and to strengthen social protection mechanisms in labour relations.
It should be noted that one of the recent amendments to labour legislation also предусматривает granting men 14 calendar days of paid leave in connection with the birth of a child.
