The DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Centre, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, has admitted a new group of beneficiaries.

The Centre's Evaluation Commission assessed the creative potential of 20 individuals from socially vulnerable groups, with 16 applicants accepted into various training programmes.

The newly admitted beneficiaries will receive training in floristry, wood carving, carpet weaving, embroidery, photography, visual arts, culinary arts, dance, capoeira and music.

As a result, the total number of beneficiaries currently receiving services at the Centre and its regional branches has reached 337.

Since its establishment, the Centre has provided services to 1,031 beneficiaries.

The Centre supports the creative development of persons with disabilities, family members of martyrs, persons disabled as a result of war and their children, children deprived of parental care, and members of low-income families.

Talented individuals aged six and above from these groups may apply through DOST centres or local offices of the Social Services Agency.
