Since 2021, a Social Rehabilitation Department for victims of domestic violence has been operating within the relevant institution of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
During this period, 291 victims of domestic violence have been provided with social rehabilitation services. Of these, 105 are women and 186 are children. Individual work plans have been implemented to support their social rehabilitation and the restoration of their social status.
The department, which is equipped in line with modern standards, provides residents with social and daily living support, socio-economic assistance, socio-psychological services, medical-social care, and social counseling.
