The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population continues active employment measures for residents resettled to the Lachin.

So far, nearly 1,200 of these residents have been involved in employment measures. Among them:

• Employment of 1,132 persons has been ensured within the district (including the establishment of small farms for 74 resettled residents within the framework of the self-employment programme).
• 49 persons have been engaged in vocational training courses in occupations that meet the requirements of the labour market.

At present, work is being carried out to support the employment of another group of residents. Their employment opportunities are being assessed, and the employment programmes in which they will be involved are being determined.
