A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population with Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who is currently on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
Deputy Minister Hidayat Abdullayev noted that the friendship and brotherly relations between the two countries have created favourable conditions for expanding cooperation in the social sphere.
The meeting focused on opportunities for cooperation in the areas of labour migration, employment, vocational training and human capital development.
The parties also exchanged views on preparing a memorandum of understanding between the two ministries on cooperation in vocational training.
Wajiha Qamar emphasised the strong potential for expanding cooperation and exchanging experience in vocational training and expressed Pakistan’s interest in strengthening bilateral ties in this field.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on future areas of cooperation.
