At the Training and Development Centre of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, a training session on “Combating Corruption” was organized for representatives of civil society institutions.
The training, aimed at further strengthening cooperation with civil society institutions active in the field of combating corruption, brought together more than 20 representatives from 20 NGOs working in this area.
Within the framework of the training programme, participants were provided with comprehensive information on the national and international legal framework for combating corruption, mechanisms applied in this field, the role of public participation, and the functions of NGOs in the process.
Participants also became familiar with effective approaches to combating corruption through practical examples.
The training aimed to increase awareness among civil society institutions about existing legislation in the field of combating corruption and to contribute to strengthening public oversight in this area.
