During the reporting period, more than 920 persons belonging to vulnerable groups were provided with services at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center and its branches under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
Of them, 700 were persons with disabilities, including those disabled due to war, and their family members. The others included members of martyr families, children who lost their parents and were deprived of parental care, and persons from low-income families.
Established on the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva and inaugurated in October 2021, this institution is the first and largest inclusive creativity and development space in the South Caucasus.
At the Center and its DOST House branches in Barda and Ismayilli, the creative potential and skills of persons from vulnerable groups are developed through training, and support is provided for their integration into society.
Currently, 274 beneficiaries are participating in training across 14 different activity areas at the Center and its branches to develop their skills.
