Social indicators for 2024
The State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population identified that employment contracts of 61 workers were terminated in violation of legal requirements during the investigation of citizen appeals in 2024.
As a result of measures taken by the Service in accordance with the legislation, these employees were reinstated to their previous positions.
During the review of appeals, the Service determined that employers had delayed the disbursement of social-related payments totaling more than 213000 manats to employees.
Following the actions taken in response to these findings, the delayed payments were reimbursed to employees by the employers. Of the paid amount, 88,6% consisted of wages, while the remainder comprised benefits, compensations, and payments for damages owed by employers.
