Within the framework of the programme, visits were made to a newly established household enterprise and to an exemplary enterprise in the field of occupational safety.
In the city of Nakhchivan, more than 50 individuals were provided with assets in the form of goods and materials to establish small family businesses in the agricultural and service sectors under the self-employment programme.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev and Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Acting Minister Farid Bagirzade, attended the event where the assets were distributed.
They met with the participants of the self-employment programme who received the assets and discussed their plans for establishing small family enterprises based on the provided resources.
Anar Aliyev and Farid Bagirzade also visited a small enterprise established with the support of the self-employment programme by Elbeyi Iqbal oglu Ismayilov, a resident of Nakhchivan city and a person with a disability, specialising in the restoration and repair of automobile tyres.
The programme participant expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided in enabling unemployed and job-seeking individuals to access small business opportunities and establish their own enterprises.
It should be noted that more than 3,200 individuals have established small family enterprises under the self-employment programme in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to date.
A visit was also made to one of the exemplary enterprises in the field of occupational safety – the ENNA company, part of “Cahan Holding” – to observe the healthy and safe working conditions established there.
