A total of 204 athletes are currently benefiting from services at the Paralympic Sports Complex of the Social Services Agency, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The Complex plays a vital role in enhancing the sporting skills of persons with disabilities, preparing them for national and international competitions, and providing medical and social rehabilitation services.
In cooperation with the National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan, the Complex hosts training camps and regular practice sessions for athletes.
The Paralympic Sports Complex provides all the necessary conditions for athletes to prepare for competitions. Training is currently offered in more than 12 sports disciplines, including para judo, para powerlifting, sitting volleyball, shooting, para archery, swimming, and others. Eight of these are Paralympic sports.
