More than 120 young persons with disabilities are currently acquiring new professional skills at the Vocational and Labour Rehabilitation Centre for Persons with Disabilities of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.

Persons with disabilities aged 15–35 are admitted to the Centre. They acquire new skills through 3–6 month training courses in various professions, including computer assembly, assembly operator, tailoring, textile production, carpet weaving, pottery, assistant cook, wood carving, men’s hairdressing and others.

They also benefit from social rehabilitation services.

Young people admitted to the institution are provided with accommodation in a dormitory, meals and rehabilitation services at the expense of the state.

Upon successfully completing the courses, participants are awarded vocational certificates and are also supported in finding employment in the professions they have acquired.
