A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population with a delegation from the Republic of Türkiye led by Adnan Ertem, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye.

Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are at the level of brotherhood and strategic alliance. He said that, as in other areas, cooperation between the two countries in the field of labour and social protection is continuously developing and expanding.

Providing information on the achievements of the social reforms carried out in our country in recent years on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Minister emphasized that successful cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of Türkiye has been maintained in the course of these reforms.

The importance of the targeted work carried out by the Joint Permanent Commission between the two ministries to develop cooperation in the field of labour and social protection was highlighted. It was noted that regular contacts and mutual visits make an important contribution to deepening relations.

Adnan Ertem expressed satisfaction with the continuous development and expansion of cooperation and noted the importance of exchanging experience.

The meeting discussed the cooperation agenda between the two ministries and issues related to developing relations in the field of social protection.
