A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population with Gioc Kristofoli, Regional President of BP for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev noted that a successful cooperation experience has been established between the Ministry and BP in previous periods, and that joint projects have been implemented in various areas.
One such initiative highlighted was the project on “Enhancing the Employability of Persons with Disabilities.” It was emphasized that this project provides significant support for the integration of persons from this category into the labour market and the promotion of inclusive employment, and the results achieved within its implementation were presented.
Cooperation between the Ministry and BP was also discussed in relation to research in population development and demography, as well as strengthening the Ministry’s human resource capacity in this field.
Gioc Kristofoli noted that BP places significant importance on supporting socially vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities, and highlighted the company’s social projects implemented in partnership with various stakeholders.
During the meeting, the continuation of the positive cooperation experience and the implementation of new joint projects were considered appropriate, and views were exchanged on these matters.
