A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population with employers operating in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.

Representatives of the State Committee for Refugee and IDP Affairs, Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, “Tamiz Shahar” OJSC, “Azerishiq” OJSC, “Azerenerji” OJSC, SOCAR, Shusha City State Reserve Administration, the Reconstruction, Construction and Management Services of Agdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand districts; Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts; Lachin District; Khankendi City, Aghdara and Khojaly districts; and Kalbajar District participated in the meeting.

Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Rashad Mustafayev provided information on the active employment programmes implemented in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur. It was emphasised that these programmes, aimed at ensuring employment for residents returning to their native lands, are continuously being expanded through active cooperation with employers.

The meeting discussed joint measures to be carried out with employers to ensure the employment of citizens relocated to the liberated territories.

Employers were also informed about the incentives and benefits available to them for attracting qualified specialists to these territories.
