The State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population organised an infotour to the Mardakan Rehabilitation Boarding House for NGO representatives.
Participants became closely acquainted with the conditions created at the rehabilitation institution, which meets modern standards, as well as with the medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation services provided to persons with disabilities.
Information was presented on the digital and innovative projects implemented in recent years by the Agency to ensure more accessible, inclusive, and citizen-oriented services, as well as on rehabilitation services provided to persons with war-related disabilities.
Presentations were delivered on the organisation of rehabilitation services, reforms carried out in recent years, applied alternative rehabilitation methods, and efforts to modernise and expand rehabilitation infrastructure.
Information was also provided on the Agency’s “Let Your Voice Be Heard”, “RehaBus” projects, and the “Reasonable Accommodation” mechanism.
During the meeting, an exchange of views on rehabilitation services took place, and suggestions from civil society representatives were heard.
