The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population organised an info tour to the Karabakh Vocational Training Centre in Barda city for NGO representatives, including members of the Public Council under the Ministry.
The Karabakh Vocational Training Centre, opened in 2023 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, includes 7 workshops, 8 classrooms and instruction rooms, a Career Guidance and Career Planning Centre, as well as administrative and technical facilities. The centre is equipped with modern technical equipment and has the capacity to organise training in 48 vocational fields.
Participants of the info tour were introduced to the facilities and provided with detailed information on vocational training programmes and the training process.
It was noted that nearly 1,400 people, including more than 500 residents of liberated territories, have participated in vocational training courses at the centre so far. When designing training programmes, the needs of employers operating or planning to operate in the liberated territories, as well as regional labour market priorities, are taken into account.
Training is delivered by professional and experienced specialists selected based on relevant criteria.
Within the framework of the info tour, participants’ questions were answered and their opinions and suggestions regarding the centre’s activities were heard.
It was emphasised that such events contribute to increasing transparency in vocational training, strengthening public oversight, and informing the wider public about the work carried out
